The OT Doctor

Tomorrow is just another day, but a super exciting one for us... we go to OT tomorrow.  Easton seems to like his appointments, from doctors to the OT.  He started calling the OT, an "OT doctor," because for some reason it makes sense to him. He went to his two-year well check and talked about it for days -even weeks; so after seeing the OT last week, he started calling her an "OT doctor." Although we just started services again, he has already made progress from his evaluation in May. Supper time is still hard, he tantrums uncontrollably when he doesn't get his way, he "spaces out", doesn't respond to the call of his name as he should, and has clingy issues with me - "I miss you Mommy," when I am right across the room.  He continues to drool and display some vestibular/movement issues too. But, he is looking better overall.  We should be starting the Willbarger protocol/brushing soon in OT, which came to me as no surprise... glad we will have this under our belt and it should gear him up to attend, calm, and soothe himself. More to come on that.... but I wanted to send an update.

  1. Go Easton! I love his term "OT Doctor". Sounds like his language skills are on track!
